Choir Director
First United Methodist Church in Quitman, Texas is seeking a Choir Director for the Chancel Choir to join our church part-time.
The Director leads the choir and congregation in traditional/blended services. The job requires attendance at choir rehearsals on Wednesday evenings, Sunday Services, and special services during the church year.

Coordinator of Children’s Ministry
The First United Methodist Church of Quitman is seeking a part-time (15 hours per week) Children’s Ministry Coordinator to join the church staff. Working with children from infants through fifth grade, the Coordinator’s goal is to facilitate Christian Biblical Learning with fun and exciting programs that help children grow in their faith.
Responsibilities include Sunday School, the church nursery, Wednesday Night Live classes, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and other special children’s events.

Nursery Adult Leader
The First United Methodist Church of Quitman is seeking a part-time (3-5 hours per week) Nursery Adult Leader to join the church staff. The Nursery Leader will care for infants in the Church Nursery, ensuring their well-being while their parent(s) are participating in church activities.
The Nursery will be attended during both Sunday School and the 11:00am worship service on Sunday mornings as well as from 5:00 to 7:00 pm when Wednesday Night Live is in session. The Nursery Leader will be assisted by an Assistant who is 16 years old or older.
